ALPHABET has been offering Translation and Interpreting services since 1996 when it was created by three friends, Yiannis Papanicolaou, Tzannis Stavropoulos, and Martha Voyiatzi. The company’s managing partners are all graduates of the Department of Foreign Languages, Translation and Interpreting, Ionian University. The company has been active on the Greek and international markets, focusing mostly on corporate customers, and is one of the few translation companies in Greece founded and managed by professional, graduate translators and interpreters. - Translation Services
ALPHABET undertakes specialized technical, financial, legal translations and, of course, all commercial and marketing documentation associated with these highly specific fields. It thus delivers end-to-end translation services catering for all the needs of its customers: from the technical documentation and marketing content for a company's products to its financial statements, legal documents and contracts.
Using modern translation tools, which incorporate the latest developments in the field of language and translation technology, the company can carry out large projects ensuring consistency in terminology, language and style.
Finally, as graduates of the Department of Translation and Interpreting, we are also authorised to certify our translations for any lawful use.
- Transcreation Services
Sometimes a project is more about culturally adapting content and imagery than translating it straightforward, namely it is about creative or adaptive translation. Transcreation is a service that focuses on fluid readability rather than just a literal translation. It concerns mostly promotional and marketing content of all types and formats, i.e. websites, printed leaflets, advertising posts, social media but also training material, where several linguistic, social, cultural and other parameters must be taken into account in line with the customer’s guidelines. It is a combination of translating and copywriting that requires special skills and experience.
- Interpreting Services
ALPHABET undertakes to cover all interpretation needs at commercial or corporate events, conferences, seminars, etc. In the most expedient manner. Our offer extends from consulting and interpretation services to the provision of the required technical infrastructure and equipment to the highest standards.
Moreover, we operate our own Remote Interpretation Hub via which we can deliver simultaneous and consecutive remote interpretation in teleconferences, webinars or other virtual events. This is an excellent solution when financial, time, healthcare or other constraints prevent participants and/or interpreters from being physically present.
- Desktop Publishing Services
ALPHABET undertakes to re-create digital media such as downloadable information sheets, brochures and other PDF documents as well as printed flyers, handouts, brochures etc. in all of its working languages using the most popular software. Thus, customers receive the final product in an immediately usable form and format.
Over the past 27 years, ALPHABET has built long-standing relationships of trust with its customers.
